I love, love, love drawing cards. I have at least 10 sets of cards and I use all of them. It’s a great intentional practice to bring yourself into a reflective state when your head won’t slow down to let you simply sit and breathe.

The card I drew today was perfect for me because lately I’ve been working at shifting limiting beliefs I’ve held for a long time. Below are 3 journal questions I’ve been using to help me get to the bottom of anything keeping me from becoming the best version of myself.
Question #1– Where am I using the word “should/n’t”? i.e, I should have figured this out by now or I shouldn’t be doing this. The word should is shaming word and almost always carries obligation with it.
Question #2– What is the most freeing and exhilarating thought about who I desire to be, what I want to do, and what I imagine having in my life and why isn’t it in my life right now (you’ll find the reason why is often a limiting belief you’re holding onto)?
Question #3- What is a belief I want to have and don’t feel like I can because there is something in the way?
Journaling is always helpful for me to uncover thoughts and feelings hiding under the surface. I hope you’re able to use these prompts in your own life and if you do I’d love to hear about it.
